I Think I Figured Out The First Sinners Comic...
I was thinking specifically how to publish the first “Sinners” project.
TL;DR: “Sinners” is going to be a series of 20-24 page comics featuring new, original female characters of various backgrounds made for adult audiences and featuring explicit content.
Each Sinners comic would be a self-contained read with a beginning, middle and end and would serve to introduce each new “Sinner” character to the reader.
Here’s a few of the Sinners that I’m hoping to show you more of in the future:
SinthiaVR, a young woman in a dystopian cyberpunk future who uses a VR headset to have erotic misadventures with virtual paramours
Smashley Thorne, a cute goth groupie who unexpectedly finds herself in the company of horny monsters
Brandy Firebush, a country girl who is abducted by aliens who are very interested in human physiology
Chocolate Dynamite, a curvaceous, chop-socky action movie star who is hunted by real ninja warriors
Metro Girl, a superheroine whose extraordinary battles usually end up with her costume shredded
The goal is really to give me the chance to flex my creative muscles and try out new ideas that don’t require a massive time and resource investment. I could do each Sinner comic in a few weeks.
THE FIRST “SINNERS” PUBLICATION WILL BE…
So I think I nailed down the first Sinners project. I want to introduce a bunch of new characters to my awesome customers and do so in a way that conveys the style and basic background of each character.
I’ve always loved sourcebooks and design works-style comics like the ones DC, Marvel and Capcom used to produce…
…so I thought the best way to do it would be as a Design Works-style book that combines full-color pinups and concept sketches coupled with text describing each character.
I think there would be anywhere from 12-15 pinups where the characters are clothed and duplicate images showing them in various states of undress. There would also be B&W sketchbook pages to show more(no pun intended) of each character. It would be a total of around 48 pages. I was thinking of also doing the book as oversized(8.5x11”).
This “Sinners Design Works” book would aim to whet your appetite for more official Sinners comics in the future.
In the next update, I’ll show some sketches giving visual confirmation of what I mean. Hopefully, you’ll decide to pre-order the comic when it goes live on FundMyComic.com
Thanks!
